ampliTex®
Our fabrics are the base of the Bcomp power ribs technology. During production, the flax yarn placement is carefully controlled in order to obtain an application-specific grid structure. The flax fibre quality, yarn thickness and twist are all tailored depending on the required mechanical properties of the final composite part, more than doubling the flexural rigidity of flat and curved surfaces or the buckling resistance of hollow shapes.
Depending on the customer needs and application, the grids can be directly connected to a base fabric, which is, again tailored to meet specific requirements. You can get inspired by the applications we are realising with our customers.
